THE WEBCOMIC
Ledis Log which means the ‘women-folk’ in Hindi-English slang, is an attempt to unravel the deep-rooted trials and tribulations that urban Indian women face.
It is a satire about the Indian city girl who is stuck between the residues of strange traditional norms and modernity.
In a world where feminism has become a serious scary topic, this project attempts to have a humorous take on it.

THE BACKGROUND
This was a project done by Roshnee Desai and her colleagues when she was working at Culture Machine. It was created for Culture Machine's women-centric social media property called 'Blush'. It was produced through numerous (loud) discussions and mutually empathatic insights that the group of women shared during office tea breaks which they then took to the bemused and often frustrated only male member to illustrate to life.
