Anti Pollution Diwali Campaign

THE BRIEF

 

The French makeup giant, Estée Lauder wanted to launch a Diwali campaign in India which was elegant and understated like them, and yet left something to be remembered by.

​

THE SOLUTION

 

We designed a limited edition box bag printed with the classical Indian fireworks of phuljari, pataaka, jameen chakri and flower pot, which would capture the sparkle of Diwali. The campaign had an antipollution social media message of #allsparklenosmoke which extended into the bag being reusable as a fashion accessory.

THE BAG

A beautifully crafted box bag was designed keeping in mind the ethos of the Estee woman. It was meant to be a Diwali gift from Estee to its clientele.

​

The suede was imported from Europe, gold foiled in India and finished with a metallic chain.

A 10- part photo series was meticulously shot for this campaign launching the new Diwali gift box bag.

The campaign was rolled out in stores across India and in airports and countries where the Indian diaspora lived like the Gulf, the UK, South Africa and USA.

THE hashtag

The hashtag started to gain tractioin as a movement.

 

#AllSparkleNoSmoke became synonymous with Estee Lauder and Diwali.
